    3. That's a nice quote by her and I think it's something I finally realized this year. I might read her book too but probably stop reading after awhile like everything else I read...

And I have been reading about mgtow and the red pill since you posted a mgtow link awhile back, Andrew. It's very interesting and helpful to see what they post there. Kinda fucked too but that's what's happening.

Also I watched a bit of Stalker last night with two friends.. one thought it was stupid and the other thought it was trippy and I thought it was pretty interesting! But we stopped watching so I'm gonna watch it later by myself.

    1. even the jails and hermits reject me ! :o)

thanx for those virginia woolf links btw, they are good ! :o)

virginia woolf was childless, there's a succinctness, intensity and truth there that you get with very few other writers !

    2. I feel like I don't belong anywhere sometimes and sometimes I feel like I fit right in with retards. I think if you meet me up person you would realize this. I think I only fit in or whatever with Jason maybe lol. Well just thinking and writing about this it all seems silly to come up with fitting in or not fitting in.

Isn't that how it is though, you question something for a bit and then it becomes meaningless after awhile... Like repeating a name or a word for a bit... I'm like that's a pretty weird name/word!

    3. Thanks Jon, you're all right too!

I was just thinking if we save up enough money it would be cool to go travel somewhere in Canada or the U.S.

For sure not in the winter though

    4. You're like the 3rd person who suggested this to me lol

But yeah that would be pretty cool

  3. Can you help me find some guides to install this SSD? I got the Samsung 850 pro and bought a SATA to usb but when I plug it in my computer doesn't recognize it. I have a mid 2012 MacBook Pro running 'el capitan'

I already backed up my comp on an external HD

I'm such a god damn consumer

    1. i'm not at all familiar with mac which makes it difficult, the first question would be r u using it as the os disk and what is the reason you didn't install it as a sata drive ?

see i just don't know so much compared to windows . .

does the disk show in the "open firmware" ?

      reddit techsupport should be helpful

    2. Yes I'd be using it as my main and only drive, my old hd is almost completely fucked

I disconnected the main drive from the SATA cable in the laptop and replaced it with the SSD, but when I boot up the comp the apple logo is replaced with that circle with a dash through it (forgetting the name), making it unable to sign in or make a new user or anything

I'll try the open firmware and I'll post on reddit tech support

    3. "When you see a circle with a slash symbol instead of the Apple logo, it means your Mac couldn't find a valid System Folder to start up from"

so its recognising the hardware but can't boot the os

    4. And thanks!

I liked the Virginia Woolf quote you posted, it caught my attention the first time I was reading through but I didn't post it because it seemed out of my league

    5. Well there's no os on it so that makes sense

I was reading somewhere that I can put an os on a flash drive and go from there..

I was trying to back up the old drive onto the SSD before installing it

    6. firstly you should back up essential data files etc to a usb stick, that's not a clone, not the OS, just your barebones back up in case everything goes wrong !

according to this page you OS X’s native Disk Utility program can make a clone

      http://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/how-to-clone-a-hard-drive-in-windows-mac-or-linux/

    7. if the old drive is still working, then it's its own backup, so just clone it to the ssd !

      Delete
    8. The problem is to make a clone I need the SSD to be recognized.. I'll post the error message when I can

It's showing up in disk utility but it's not letting me do anything to it

I downloaded carbon copy cloner but I can't choose the new drive

    9. the ssd might need formating and partition matching if necessary

    10. Yeah I've tried to partition and format but I'm not given the option

The choices are there but they're bleached out and unclickable

    11. maybe it has to be named or something like that ?

that's specific and quite researchable !

    12. you have to format the ssd, maybe the ata to usb intereface is causing problems in which case you have to make a bootable usb, boot into that and then format the ssd which is plugged directly into the SATA

    15. i'm not sure i know what you mean by bootable usb

like make a flash with an OS on it? and then load that and have the ssd connected to the main sata?

think i should try to erase it?

    17. Download "carbon copy cloner", clone the old drive to the ssd in a usb enclosure, then try booting from the ssd by holding option while booting.

      Delete
    18. It's in progress, doing just that

Didn't know the option boot, I'll try that

  4. Do you accept yourself? It's because you're different, dude. You said my brain is different but I'm pretty sure yours is the one that's different! You must have gone through some changes in your body or some shit (maybe you were born this way) and everything/everyone is reacting different towards you... I don't hate you I just think you're weird and stuff.

Maybe I don't accept you because you're so different. You're like leaps and bounds out of this world type of shit different. Or maybe not. I'm not even sure anymore.

That's why maybe people will come to you and treat you this way.

    1. jon you are as different as me, virginia woolf and andrei tarkovsky, is it going to take you twenty years to work that out ?

we are strange little planets slipping in and out of galaxies and even universes always having to fake having always been there at anywhere we arrive !
